A prequel to The Deathtones' song “Camp Blood”, this new track, entitled “Friday The 13th” brings us back to Part 1 and tells the story of the very first Crystal Lake Killer…no, not the hockey mask-wearing, machete-wielding slasher of legend, but a loving, caring, grief-stricken and vengeful mother…Pamela Voorhees!

Before the mask of legend
There was another tale
Of a doting loving mother
And the son that she would fail
When Jason slipped below
The still waters of crystal lake
And for the teenagers’ folly
Her vengeance she would take

On Friday the 13th
Mother will hack and slash
Their blood will stain the ground
And her teeth how they would gnash
A painful sorrowed grin
A ghost upon her face
Call for little Jason
And a mother’s embrace

The night would end bloody
And the camp had earned its name
She started the killer legend back in 1958
Alice would end old Pamela
